Cantonment College, Cumilla cantonment stands proudly as a modern and self-sufficient educational institution under the intensive care of teachers at the foot of Lalmai hill, the ancient town of Bengal, a lush land of archeological monuments. Cantonment College is located in the southern edge of Cumilla Cantonment, adjacent to Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), in an environment free from the noise and pollution of the city and close to the archaeological sites of Itakhola Mura under Adarsh ​​Sadar Upazila, six kilometers west of Cumilla District Headquarters. Controlled by Department of Military Lands and Cantonments under the Ministry of Defense of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, run by Cumilla Cantonment Board, Cantonment College started its journey of   teaching activities in Higher Secondary class from 2002-2003 academic year. Cantonment College, Cumilla Cantonment has been able to gain reputation as a quality educational institution in the whole of Bangladesh under the supervision of the Competent Management Board and the dedicated efforts of the Teachers since its inception. The college ranked 10th in 2008, 3rd in 2009 and 20th in 2012 in Cumilla Education Board.

Under the permission of the Department of Military Lands and Cantonments, Cantonment College started the Graduate (Pass Course) in the academic year 2011-12 and as per the decision of the Directorate, the admission to the Graduate (Pass Course) in the academic year 2015-16 was suspended. In this age of information technology, teachers are teaching through digital content according to the lesson plan for each subject. Recently a modern computer lab has been developed for the practical and efficient management of ICT subjects.
