Cantonment College, Cumilla Cantonment is a traditional educational institution controlled by the Department of Military Lands and Cantonments and run by the Comilla Cantonment Board. With the passage of time, this college has been able to gain reputation in sports and literary and cultural activities besides education. At the same time, according to the needs of the era, students are working diligently to develop the intellect and mind with view to creating good citizens.
The present age is the age of information technology. In this era, there is no alternative to digitalization in educational institutions. For that reason, a modern computer lab has been set up in the Cantonment College under the guidance of the Honorable President of the Governing Body of the college as part of the Digital Bangladesh construction announced by the government. Multimedia projectors and sound systems have been installed in classrooms, auditoriums and teachers' lounges. The entire campus has been covered by CCTV cameras to ensure overall order and security of the college. Digital banking service 'TAP' has been launched for students to pay their monthly salary and other fees. Customized software is being used to provide the results and mark sheets of the internal examinations of the college. Fingerprint attendance machines have been installed to ensure the attendance of teachers and staff. SMS system has been introduced to inform the parents about the daily presence and absence of students in the college. WhatsApp groups have been opened to increase the connectivity of teachers and students. Above all, a beautiful website of the college has been launched where teachers-students, parents and well-wishers will get necessary information about the activities of the college.
